TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Scale 3 £14,213 to £14,872 pa, 
30 hours a week, (9am–3.30pm)

Term Time Only (39 weeks, including INSET days)

Jack Tizard is an outstanding purpose-built all age school for students with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are currently looking to recruit a number of friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable people to work as Teaching Assistants. You will work as a key member of the class team under the direction of a class teacher and have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ideally candidates will have some experience of working with children and young people with special needs, however, other strengths may be considered for the right candidate. We offer a supportive environment where staff induction and training will be provided. These positions may also suit those considering a future career in Early Years Education, Occupational Therapy, SaLT or Physiotherapy and wishing to seek relevant experience.
