Jack Tizard is a friendly, supportive, purpose-built all age school for pupils with severe learning difficulties, located in the north of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The School is literally next door to Queens Park Rangers Football Club and fifteen minutes walk from Westfield Shopping Centre and the BBC; it has excellent transport links, including Wood Lane and White City tube stations a ten minute walk away.

Working at Jack Tizard school is a rewarding career choice. Whatever post you are in, you are part of a valuable team of professionals that believe in working together and supporting each other to obtain the best possible results for each and every child.  Within the school we have an increasing number of pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs. We are an outward looking community school with an innovative, well developed curriculum and highly regarded outreach and inclusion service.

We regularly recruit friendly, enthusiastic, hard working and reliable people to work as Teaching Assistants, as part of a team under the direction of our class teachers. To work at Jack Tizard School, you need good communication skills and relate well to children. You must be willing to work flexibly across the school as required, and whilst experience with special needs children is desirable, it is not essential as we offer a good induction programme. A positive attitude is more important along with a sense of humour!

Jack Tizard is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and staff share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for successful appointees in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.
